Privacy Policy

This policy describes how FreeMCHost collects, uses, and protects users' personal data, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR") and the French Data Protection Act.

1. Data controller

2. Data collected

We collect information that you provide to us directly or indirectly when using our services. This may include:

  • Account data: email address, password (hashed), display name.
  • Billing data: name, billing address, payment information (processed by Stripe), and any other information required to issue invoices.
  • Contact and communication data: information you provide through contact forms, support tickets, or any other direct communication with us.
  • Technical data: IP address, session identifier, browser type, connection logs.
  • Usage data: actions performed on servers (creation, start, stop, etc.).

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Provision of the service (contract execution).
  • Billing and fraud prevention (legal obligation).
  • Service improvement and anonymized statistics (legitimate interest).
  • Service emails (contract execution).
  • Advertising on public pages via Google AdSense (consent).
  • Audience measurement via Google Analytics (consent).
  • Approximate geolocation from your IP address for abuse prevention and regional availability of offers (legitimate interest).

4. Retention period

  • Account data: for the duration of the account, then 12 months after deletion.
  • Billing data: 10 years (accounting obligation).
  • Connection logs: 12 months.
  • IP geolocation cache: automatically deleted after 7 days.
  • Last known IP address stored on your profile: cleared after 30 days of inactivity.
  • Cookie consent records: 13 months, then consent is requested again.

5. Recipients and subprocessors

Your data is accessible to FreeMCHost. We may also share it with third parties and subprocessors, including but not limited to:

  • Lovable (platform hosting)
  • OVH SAS, Oracle Cloud, Contabo and other infrastructure providers (server hosting)
  • Stripe (payment processing)
  • Google AdSense and Google Analytics (advertising, analytics)

This data sharing allows us to analyze platform usage, improve our services, generate advertising revenue, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

6. Transfers outside the EU

Some subprocessors (Stripe, Google, Oracle Cloud) may transfer data outside the EU. These transfers are governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict, and port your data. You may exercise these rights at any time by email at hello@freemchost.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).

Logged-in users can exercise most of these rights directly from their account: download a full machine-readable copy of their data (portability), update their profile (rectification), manage cookie consent, or permanently delete their account and all associated servers (erasure).

8. Security

Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted via TLS. Access to data is restricted to authorized personnel.

9. Data loss

FreeMCHost cannot be held responsible for the loss or corruption of user data. We recommend performing regular backups.
